Vintage Navy Suits
We always love seeing the finished result after weeks of fittings, alterations and planning — and Tim Lyons was kind enough to send us a few photographs from the Lyons/Scanlon wedding at the beautiful Carton House.
Tim and his wedding party went for a classic navy suit, crisp white shirt and rich red tie, finished with matching pocket squares and buttonholes. It’s a timeless combination and, judging by these photos, worked perfectly against the backdrop of Carton House.

One of our favourite things about wedding suit hire is that while the suits need to look consistent as a group, every member of the party still needs to feel comfortable and properly fitted in his own suit. That’s where the individual fittings and final fine-tuning in our Temple Bar workroom really make the difference.
And apparently, a good suit also works rather well with a vintage taxi.

Tim sent us a lovely note afterwards:
“Cannot thank you and your team enough for making us look sharp and being flexible!!”
That means a lot to us. Weddings rarely run completely to script, particularly when people are travelling, staying in hotels or trying to coordinate a full group. We’ll always do what we reasonably can to help when plans change.
A huge congratulations to Tim and the newlyweds, and thanks again for letting us share the photographs.
If you’re planning a wedding at Carton House, elsewhere in Ireland, or travelling in from abroad, you can arrange an initial wedding suit viewing with us at Tangos Formal Wear in Temple Bar, Dublin.
